emailMichael BRIGGS [modified: 1-2006]
St. Louis, MO
I retired from a 35 year career in retail almost five years ago. I spend my time training for triathlons (nationally ranked), attending graduate seminars at Washington University (largely in history), and traveling. So far, my wife and I have visited almost forty countries including two weeks in Southern Africa last year. My wife (Arlue) and I have three grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way. After woking sixty to seventy hour work weeks for all of those years, I highly recommend retirement. After moving around the country after I graduated, we are glad to have settled in Saint Louis and have a nice home on the bluffs over looking the Mississippi river south of the city.
