We are still in East Texas enjoying the great winters and the not so great "hot" summers. We celebrated our 39th anniversary with a cruise to Alaska. Our lives are busy with our four married kids and eight (soon to be nine) grandchildren. I keep busy helping at my husband's dental office and traveling to see family. This last year was hard with a recurrence of my breast cancer (after 10 years being cancer free). This time it is in my back but the Lord has been good to keep me going with the current protocol that I have been on.

They are having their first, a son, in the middle of February and we will be first time grand parents! We are very, very excited! My daughter has returned to St.Louis to finish her degree at Meramec and then wants to attend a 4 year college to obtain her Athletic Trainer’s degree. My husband, Hal is a PHD Clinical Psychologist specializing in Neuropsychological and Medical Manifestations of Diseasepsychology and is very well respected in his field. I have been running the family investment portfolios for the last 20 years. We live in New York City almost halftime and get to enjoy our children and grandchildren. We travel a lot and enjoy choosing new and exciting places. It is so intersting to hear about everyone else because I have been so consumed with my own life. It is rewarding to see the accomplishments and sorrowfully sad to read the tragedies of others. I truly believe that 3/4 of life is LUCK as well as hard work. My best to you all. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Still living in St. Louis, but moved to the Central West End several years ago after almost 25 years in the "Ladue School District" part of Creve Coeur. Now my daughter (with her toddler) lives in the district and her husband teaches there, so we will be a three generation Ladue family.

We are retired and living in Austin, TX for the past 11 years. After 20 years in Chicago, we wanted a warmer climate and smaller city; Winters were too long and gloomy in Chicago, otherwise it is a great dymanic and wonderful place to live! A career opportunity moved us to Dallas in 1988. We decided we liked Texas, but Dallas. Austin is a much better place to call home -- friendlier, great Hill Country vistas, and a city with lots of personality, vive and soul (something sorely lacking in Dallas, IMO). Any fellow Ladue-ites living in this area, please get in touch.
