One being, writing children s books... with none other then Kathy Tallin Mateos (1985), and my brother Darien Camie (1984) We are having fun to say the least!

After Serving as Executive Interior Design Editor at BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS magazine for eight years (and Senior Editor in the same deparment for eight years prior to that), I was recruited in 1996 to help build our restructured books publishing operation. I've been married for 26 years to Ronald Whitman, a pharmacist who shares my loves of design. We live north of Des Moines in a barn-style post-and-beam house that's tucked into the woods overlooking the Des Moines River. In addition to writing and design, I still love music and, when I'm not on the road, I spend lots of time at my harpsichord.
Married for 26 years to Jim, operations executive. Daughter, Eileen, recent Master's from WU in Deaf Education. Son, Lee, attending Georgia Tech. Have lived in MA, IN, OH, and now CT. Worked until children, then substitute teacher, and now assistant teacher in Yale run special ed school.

I've been married to the former Joan Geller of Little Rock, Ark., for 31 years, and we have two grown children, Hunter, who played baseball at the University of Oklahoma and is in financial management in Dallas; and a daughter, Stacy, a graduate of the University of Missouri and now a news producer at KMBC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Kansas City.

I am now Margo Saunders, married (April 2006) to Garry Saunders. We continue to enjoy life in Canberra, Australia. My son Brett is in his first year at the Australian National University, and Ross is in year 11. I would love to hear from anyone who was involved with Panorama (or whose children might be involved in school newspapers?) and has any insights or advice about that experience, as I am hoping to initiate a school newspaper program here (Canberra high schools don't seem to have student newspapers!).

Lindsey graduated from U of A in Tucson and is now a photographer living north of SF on an Indian Reservation, and Lisa is finishing up her sophmore year in high school. I have lived in Texas for 30 years now - previously in the Houston/Sugarland area and then the last 15 have been in the Dallas area. I have 3 grown children (2 girls and a boy) and 2 beautiful grandchildren (one boy and one girl). A 4th child (a daughter) passed away 16 years ago at the age of 14. I have been a certified paralegal for 20+ years and currently work for a local law firm close to home. My husband works for Cadbury/Schweppes in Plano - so no Cokes in the house allowed!! My husband and I are enjoying the "empty nest" although the grandkids live very close by so it is not empty very often but we enjoy it!

I'm still choir accompanist at junior high and also play for h.s. musicals and occasional gig in town. Dave and I will celebrate our 35th anniversary on July 30 with a trip to Puerto Rico. He'll probably retire in a couple of years. Dan will be 32 in Aug. and is still a pediatrician in Augusta, Maine. Joe will be 29 in Aug. and will receive PhD in electrical/computer engineering from UC--Santa Barbara, after which he'll do a post-doc fellowship at Mt. Holyoke in conjunction with MIT. So, the brothers will be only 4 hrs. apart instead of 3,000 miles. Hope everyone here is well.
