Having heard a song on the radio tonight, January 25, 2008, that reminded me of my dear friend, Carla Greenblatt, it occurred to me that the class of '68 has it's 40th reunion this very summer. Our 40th is only one year away...incredible. Still living on Long Island and married now for 27 big ones! I returned to teaching 12 years ago at the ripe young age of 45...I love, love my work, finally! We bought a home in Charleston, South Carolina a year ago and we are in awe and in love with the city. It oozes charm and authentic history, offers fabulous restaurants, 3 perfect seasons and scenic beauty every where you go. Perhaps, we will live there one day, but for now it is a perfect monthly getaway. Life is good and I have every intention of making it to our 40th reunion next summer. How can 40 years seem like yesterday? As we watched the football playoffs between the Giants and Greenbay last weekend, I listened to Joe Buck's wonderful, inimitable commentary...such a familiar voice, like being home! Go Giants!

I started a new practice, Brick Walk Esthetic Dentistry, about 5 years ago, feeling about my old location about the same way Gertrude Stein felt about Oakland.
