Just as a side note for those that went to Wright School. Arline Hardy (she taught 1st grade at Wright School for 40 years) was my aunt. I took care of Arline in her final years. She passed away on Dec. 27, 2008. She remembered all of you and spoke about many of you until her passing. The students and parents she knew consumed every hour of her life for 40 years. She loved you all.

I am Vice President of the International Federation of Rabbis (IFR), Musical Director of the Jewish Community Day School and for the NCCJ and serve as Chairman of the Interfaith Council for NCCJ. Federico and I celebrated our 31st anniversary in August. Our five daughters, assorted sons-in-law and five grandchildren are all thriving and growing. We have lived on the Eastern Shore of VA for the past 23 years. My guess is we'll stay here...it's a quiet, unique, pristine location surrounded by water. We love it.

I actually didn't graduate from Ladue but did attend through my Junior year so I do think of it as my high school. I graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and have been a news photographer for the last 25 years. I am currently at KCTV in Kansas City,married with one daughter (she's the greatest). My career has afforded me the opportunity to travel, meet presidents and celebrities and do things I never thought I'd get a chance to do. Still get back to St. Louis to see my mom, she's 89 and still going strong. Still see and stay in touch with people like Greg Pelligreen, Mark Weisbrod, John Braffman, Charlie Emig and Harry Sloofman. To all who may remember me ( I skipped class frequently) I hope you are all well.

Grandparents again! My older son Matt Rand ('95) and his wife Penny are expecting their second daughter in mid-March. She will join her big sister Ryleigh, who was just 3 years old on Thanksgiving 2005. They, mother Penny and Matt are living in Dallas TX where he is an Art Director working for Tracy Locke Partners. David '03, our younger son is a Junior at St. Olaf in Northfield, MN. I've been working for HBE Corporation and Adam's Mark Hotels for the last six years as their VP Information Systems / CIO. Barb, my wife, is making beaded jewelry and working for Right Management Consultants. You can catch her wonderful work at American Visions here in town. It would be nice to hear from any or all of you.

I've been traveling around the western USA in a VW camper for the past 7 months with my husband, Dave and dog, Quito. We've been spending some of the time in Sebastopol, CA north of San Francisco. We're having fun camping and exploring. We've been making some money along the way; I've been selling jewelry and silver vessels I make, fabricating exhibits for natural history museums and nature centers, as well as working with a fabulous organization, Global Youth Leadership Institute. We're now in the process of trying to figure out what's next.

Recently we sold our house and moved to a Loft Condo. Life is good.

SEYFRIED, LOUIS R., died Saturday, August 6, 2005, in Rancho Mirage, California; he was 52. Born in California at Santa Margarita Naval Hospital, Oceanside, he was raised in St. Louis. He was a National Honor student at Ladue High School. Louis graduated from University of California-Berkeley in 1975 with a degree in Zoology. He enjoyed a successful career as Vice-President of the Eastern Hemisphere for Gyrodata, Inc., an oil service company, headquartered in Houston, TX, where he traveled the world. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, he made many friends, enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and truly embraced the Scottish culture. Louis leaves behind many friends who loved him dearly and who remember him for his sense of adventure and fun. Louis was a kind and generous soul with a big heart. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Seyfried of Rancho Mirage, California; his brother, Scott Seyfried (Alice) of St. Louis; his sister, Sally Hanger (Mac) of LaJolla, California; 4 nieces, a nephew and partner of many years, Sherry Engler. Robert & I have been married for 23 years. We have 4 children: Lisa (deceased), Becky, Paul and Aaron... and 6 grandchildren: David, Josh, Taylor, Cameron, Kelsey and Jake. After enjoying being an empty nester for 5 years I am now the parent to our daughter's oldest children David and Josh. Robert has worked for Daimler/Chrysler for 37 years and is looking forward to retirement. However, I beat him to it. I offically retired this past March. They boys are keeping me busy. I am now able to enjoy the many hobbies that I have which include stained glass, quilt making, music, and remodeling.

I am living in Vancouver, Washington now with my wife, Katy, of 12 years. I was divorced from my first wife in 1994 and my daughter still lives in Phoenix. My son died at age 22 in July 2006 in an industrial accident just two months after I was diagnosed with a nasty frontal lobe brain cancer and informed that I was already dead. JOG ON! Was my response, and while I suffer the monthly chemo I am still alive and kicking whatever gets in the way. I have been a Physical Therapist for 25 years, obviously now retried! Wish I’d known about the 30 year reunion, I might have made it.

Just a quick update--my oldest daughter, Kara, is now 33yrs. old!!?. My 2 sons, Ryan, is 27 & Joel is 26. Garett, my 1st grandchild is now 11 yrs. old (we adopted him) & I now have a granddaughter, Alexa who will be 8 yrs. old July 1st. Typical busy life especially w/raising another child at MY AGE!! Although I do find time to help my husband out with his company & I also started mine 1 yr. ago with Mary Kay Inc. I'm moving up the ladder--close to getting "my company car".
