We enjoy many outdoor activities together,as a family. Camping, hunting and shooting, motor-cross and ATV's, skiing (water/snow) but the best is scuba diving together, as we explore the ocean as a family. I have always loved children and enjoyed teaching. 10 years ago I built my first preschool and five years ago we grew out of it, so I built a new school and we have 170 children - 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Owning and directing the preschool has allowed me to be at all of my childrens activities through the years. It has been fun!! Live life to the fullest, it's there for you to enjoy.

Since leaving the Los Angeles Times I've annually traveled a distance roughly equal to a circumnavigation of the equator, searching creeks and rivers of America for the very best swimming holes. The result is a series called Day Trips with a Splash. Strange details of the transition from serious journalist to swimming hole professional will be available in the June '03 issue of National Geographic Adventure magazine.

Gershenson, a native of St. Louis who founded a medical supply business, died Monday (Nov. 13, 2000) of a bacterial infection and complications from pneumonia at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He was 37 and lived in Chicago. Before 1993, Mr. Gershenson practiced law in Chicago. In 1985, Mr. Gershenson received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He later graduated from the Washington University School of Law. He married Michelle O'Brien Gershenson in 1994. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ellie L. Gershenson and Meredith B. Gershenson, both of Chicago; his parents, Harvey and Audrey Gershenson of Creve Coeur; two sisters, Shelley R. Sarver and Beth M. Imber, both of Creve Coeur; and two brothers, Mark B. On May 22, 2002 Governor Bob Holden appointed Ellen as an Associate Circuit Court Judge. Ellen had been serving as a Family Court Commissioner since July, 1999. I'm an applications engineer for an automotive oil seals company (now doesn't that sound exciting?). I've lived in SE Michigan since 1988, and although I certainly love Michigan summers that generally aren't humid and are in the lower 80's much of the time, I definitely miss Cardinal baseball, Ted Drewes, Imo's, and many of you!

Rae passed away after complications arose while battling Crones Disease. She was a single mom with a little boy named Noah. Rae had an amazing spirit and her light shines on. TAMARA RAE WELTY - Rae Welty, 36, Prairie Village, KS, passed away Monday, December 6, 1999, at St. Joseph Health Center. Rae was born December 17, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, IA. She was a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing. She was a member of Colonial Presbyterian Church, Tri Delta Sorority and a member of the Council for Exceptional Children. She received her bachelor's degree in special education at Tulsa University and her master's degree in applied behavioral sciences at Oklahoma State University. Rae is survived by her parents, Bonnie and Larry Pagenkopf, Warsaw, MO, and Ray and Judy Pisarik, Ely, IA; son, Noah Jamison; brothers, Craig and Kirk Pagenkopf; sister, Cheryl Vlach; two half sisters, Cindy Klawiter and Toni Pisarik; grandmother, Helen Pisarik; three nieces and three nephews. Just wanted to say hi to my fellow Ladue alums. After reviewing alumni updates I noticed that my bio was very old:) I still live in the Jefferson City area with my husband Randy and 10 yr. old son, Griffin. After high school I got my master's in Counseling Psych. I have been in many positions as a therapist, social worker, fundraiser, health educator and real estate broker. My most recent position was as a manager for our local Planned Parenthood. I am currently not employed but trying to keep up with Griff's school and after school activities and traveling with my family.
