Heather BAKER RomanoDr. Heather Suzanne Romano of Longmont died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, in Longmont. She was 31. She was born July 19, 1974, in St. Louis to David and Barbara (Hoffman) Baker. She graduated from Ladue High School in 1992. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received her doctor of optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2002. She married Matthew Romano on May 25, 2002, in Philadelphia. She originally moved to Boulder for college and moved to Longmont in 2002 after her marriage. Dr. Romano was an optometrist at the Wal-Mart Vision Center in Longmont. She was devoted to her son, Charles, and especially enjoyed swimming with him at the park. She enjoyed dancing, bicycling, canoeing and being outdoors. She loved to help people. She is survived by her husband of Longmont; her son, Charles David Romano of Longmont; her parents of Ladue, Mo.; two sisters, Dr. Jennifer Baker-Cramer of Charleston, S.C., and Dr. Emily Jane Baker of Broomfield; her father- and mother-in-law, Victor and Marylou Romano of Turnersville, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Angela Romano Vosburgh of Philadelphia; and two grandmothers, Adelaide Benham and Lorraine Hoffman. Stacy RILEY McCullenStacy I. McCullen (nee Riley) passed away Tues., April 7, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at age 35. Beloved wife of Kirk A. McCullen; dear daughter of David and Fran Riley; dear sister of Rebecca Riley; dear granddaughter of Reeva and the late Arnold Frank and Virginia and the late James Riley; dear daughter-in-law of Timothy and Patricia McCullen; dear niece of Ellen (Tony) Mughal and Robert Riley; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and wonderful friend to many. She will be sadly missed by her dogs, Bitsy and Cody. Stacy was a gifted educator and an inspiration to her students and faculty, having earned her masters degree in School Counseling. She cherished her 5 years with the love of her life, Kirk. She was a devoted Cardinals fan, BFF to Rebecca, protector of all creatures (large & small) and a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.
